As an active duty Soldier in Iraq there is nothing better after a long convoy out on the roads to and from Al Nasiriyah, Baghdad, Jordan, or the Syrian border than a Don Pedro cigar. Its mellow tobacco enables me to relax and reminisce in the day's past events. It is truly amazing how this fine cigar can make your mind travel from distant places such as Mesopotamia, the ancient city of Ur or Babylon all the way to the cobblestone covered streets of my beloved Old San Juan in Puerto Rico.
From the moment you open a box of Don Pedro Cigars you can see that they are processed with the finest selection of ingredients and manufactured with what I consider military type precision.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how truly enjoyable I find your cigars (what'd you put in there to make them so good anyway?). As an infrequent cigar smoker, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy your Don Pedro Cigars when a very good friend offered me one to try. I must say it was by far the best cigar I have had the opportunity to smoke. From the box they came in, to the fresh aroma from the cigar as I removed it from its wrapper, I realized I was in for something very special.
Now, one of my favorite ways to wind down after a long hard day is to relax in my hot tub with one of your cigars. Yes I know, it seems a little self indulgent, but that’s precisely why I enjoy it so. Thanks again.
As a full time resident of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, I love the fact that these cigars are actually hand made here in Puerto Rico, using the best of local products and talents. It also seems to me that while Don Pedro uses the best of local products available, they still seek out wrappers, binders, etc. from some of the best markets around the globe to supplement and enhance the quality of their finished product beyond what is readily available in the Puerto Rican market.
